Kayaking is ‘the’ summer sports holiday.

People typically don’t think twice before deciding on a winter sports holiday such as Skiing or Snowboarding but are usually more hesitant when it comes to choosing a summer sports holiday.

People typically don’t think twice before deciding on a winter sports holiday such as Skiing or Snowboarding but are usually more hesitant when it comes to choosing a summer sports holiday.

Winter sports such as skiing have a lot of infrastructure connected to them i.e. Ski lifts and groomed slopes, as these are essential to make the sport accessible. This high visibility infrastructure attracts further businesses wanting to get a piece of the pie, such as hotels, restaurants and transport companies.

Kayaking doesn’t have this surrounding infrastructure and is a lot less accessible becuase of this.

It is generally easy to find a kayaking hire centre in the better kayaking locations but what is holding people back from booking kayaking holidays further afield, such as Scandinavia, are questions like; How do i get to such a remote location? Where can i buy food? Where can i rent a tent? What about gas for the stove?

To make kayaking holidays more accessible, we have modelled our kayaking business the same as any all-inclusive skiing holiday. Offering features such as;

  • Transporting the customer straight from the airport to the very best place for kayaking in a usually difficult to reach location.
  • Providing excellent quality gear needed for kayaking and camping, including safety and navigation equipment.
  • A customised booklet with a wealth of information such as maps with graded suggested routes, also detailing the best islands to setup camp.
  • A service for pre-buying food, so it is packed and ready for when you land in Sweden.
